i found myself a new writer!

hello everybody...this time someone else is writtin my "dastani zindagi", you see my mamoo is a very busy person so he temporarily gave this task to his younger sister dat is my nayuu khala...

you wont believe it but i actually came back to Pakistan last week because i was really missing my nani house. I use to drive my mom crazy talking about nani and asking no demanding her to take me to my nani house... it doesnt matter that we'll have to take a plane to reach there...i even use to talk about it in my sleep so my beloved mommy and daddy FINALLY decided to take me back for 5 days. That were more than enough for me and that was all i could talk about that day and i was even ready and pack to go way early but for some weird, stupid reason my parents delayed going to the airport till 10 at night when my throat was sore from telling my mommy countlessly "nani ghar chalo nani ghar chalo" and from singing "mauja hi mauja" on the top of my lungs and my eyes were all puffy because it was way past my bedtime..

anyway we reached karachi and i met my nani, nayab and nano. i was feeling a little shy at first or maybe i couldnt believe what i was seeing, thinking any moment they are going to dissappear in a puff and im going to hear my mommy call "chalo faazi uthoo, Miss Nicky kay pass nai jana".
but guess what; they were actually real...and after recovering from my initial shyness(which i guess i inheried from my mommy's side) i had alot of fun. i took out all my old toys and played with Nayab and Nani.
in those five days not only did i work with Nano on his excitingly thick journals and learned how to do Hiiiiiyyyaaaa from Nayab, i also sat on a horse twice. Apart from that i got a present from nani who gave me a very cool looking lunch box to take to school but she she didnt get me the matching water bottle with it. i tried to reason with my mommy and nani (in my own ways ofcouse) that i had to have it and how fetching its going to look with my lunch box. butmy mom was determined that i didnt need one and my nani yielded. its still a very touchy topic so dont mention it around me.
Those five days got up so quickly but i wasnt that sad when i left this time.

Excuse for my absense

I know ... I know.
You all have been swarming to my blog everyday, hoping to find a new post from me.
Well your wait is over, I'm here to give you all the juicy details of what has been going on in my life these days.

There are basically 2 reasons for my sudden departure from the blogging world.

1. As you all know, I'm really interested in computers. But my parents think that I'm still too young to use one. They didn't even let me touch it. Now you tell me ... wouldn't this kind of behavior from your parents make you mad too? I took it quietly for a few weeks, but then my emotions overwhelmed me completely. I went to where my mom was doing something on the laptop and I reached out for the black wire that was going into the laptop and yanked it with all my might. I heard my mom shriek out my name as the laptop fell from her lap onto the carpeted floor. It seemed like everything was happening in slow motion (like those cheesy dramatic scenes in indian movies). My mom's shout sounded like thunder and I slowly began to feel that sinking feeling in my stomach that I normally get before I'm about to get a serious spanking from my mom.
Ahem Ahem ... I'm sorry I can't go on. I really don't want to re-live that evening again but needless to say it wasn't pleasant. The laptop computer had landed on it's back side (where the charger was plugged in) and the computer would not charge anymore. :(

2) The second reason for not blogging for so long has nothing to do with me. (I know you don't believe me ... but read on) We have just moved into a really cool condominium last month. So my mom has been busy settling in etc and she didn't get much time to take pictures/videos of me. Once we get our laptop back, I'll make sure my mom puts up some pictures of our new home too.

Anyway .. following are some of the recent things going on in my life:

-- I accidentally ate a whole peach - the fruit (along with the big 'beej' that's in the center of the fruit.) Since my dad was out of town and my mom was alone, she went berserk. She tried to get me to throw up so that I would spit out the beej. But that didn't work. So then she called up my naani in Pakistan and got the horrifying suggestion that I should be fed a lot of bananas. Yuckkk!!! I'm glad that's over.

-- A kid's gotta have some fun right? Well thats exactly what I was trying to do when I accidentally slipped from the couch and hit my head on the coffee table. I had a really nasty bruise, so my parents took me to the emergency room at the hospital. The doctor wanted to do an X-ray of my head, but I didn't really feel like doing it so I wouldn't stay still. I cried and wriggled so much that they couldn't take a clear picture of my head. Everybody just gave up then and took me home. It was really painful, but I'm doing great now - Mashallah.

-- I feel a little embarrassed to tell you this, but I'm going through the grueling routine of 'potty training' these days. It's no fun .. lemme tell you that. But I don't really plan on wearing diapers all my life .... so I'll have to buckle up and get through this.
Wish me luck!

Diaper Fad

Okay .. so Im pissed off about two things.
First my mom takes advantage of the fact that Im only 18 months old and makes a video of me in a diaper.
And then she holds the camera sideways so the video is rotated 90 degrees towards the left. Now wouldnt you think that a person who's married with one kid would know how to hold the camera .. tsk tks tsk .. lol

Anyway .. I wonder when grown up people will learn to not make us kids act like monkeys. Jeeez .. The "where's your nose" and "Where are your eyes" routine can get so boring sometimes.
